Background A mapping and GIS solution provider consultancy was established as SPIN Systems in January 2007 by Ms. Shetal Shah. It has been registered as a Private Limited Company under The Companies Act, 1956 of India in May 2008. Ms. Shah is a GIS, Remote Sensing and Mapping Specialist with about fourteen years of professional experience in the field. She was associated as a core team member of a group of companies namely, Environmental Planning Collaborative (EPC) and Geographis (India) Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad, for about ten years. She was Director of Geographis from July 2004 onwards. In a span of around six years, she has conceptualized and successfully introduced innovative projects with GIS-based solutions to various organizations ranging from private sector organizations and NGOs to Government organizations. In achieving this, she has persuaded various clients to adopt GIS-based solutions for their routine tasks. Her expertise in various domains, from project conceptualization to final documentation, technical support and management forms the foundation of SPIN Systems. |
